Life Goal #2: Hiring Garr to follow me around and say everything for me.
This will make absolutely no sense if you don't know who Garr is. Even if you do know, this still might not make all that much sense. It was funny in my head, but I'm not sure how it works outside of it.
For the uninformed, he's this artist with an amazing deep voice and a gorgeous English accent. I mean the kind of voice so incredible that you listen to and suddenly find yourself swooning and melting into a puddle next to your chair within seconds.
His gallery, which includes audio clips, is here: [link]
Anyway, this is sort of a casual work, but I have this goal to start drawing one thing a week non-stop until I finish the 100 Theme Art Challenge, regardless of how inspired or creative I feel. It's a sort of experiment in forced creativity and trying to improve my average quality even when I totally don't feel like drawing.
I was in a total art slump and feeling totally uninspired, so I dug around in this list I keep of silly images and scenarios that pop into my head and chose this one. It actually took a very long time, mostly because I had to keep forcing myself not to give up, not to get all perfectionist, and trying to just be creative. Not very enjoyable, but I'm actually pretty proud of getting doing this even with major art block.
Garr is err... copyrighted to himself because everyone seems to be these days.
I don't do backgrounds often, but I'm trying to start. Unfortunately, I injured my wrist somehow earlier and I seriously can NOT draw a straight line at the moment. This is most obvious with the ceiling. Sorry about that.
