xDDD! I love this! I love the sketchy feeling, and the expressions, especially the second panel, he's just PLOTTING and SMIRKING and plotting some MORE.
n_n this whole thing's just done so well, it definitely seems like something one would find in the Sunday comics, but a really GOOD Thing, not the dumb ones that are usually in there. Or like. On a really twistedawesome greeting-card thing, or something. x3
Also I heart the green and texture ye did this with (how? It's lovely!); it makes it look like. Ancient recovered from deep underground thousands of years ago, high art, and all we know of this ancient civilization is THIS! And it speaks a thousand volumes...
Anyway, that's what I think. x3
The first panel-kitty looks so sweet and innocent and HUGGABLE. n__n <3 HE GETS SO MANY SNUGS. Even if we know what's coming next. x3
Heh, I haven't been following Sunday comics as much as I used to. It's harder and harder to find really good ones, and with how they keep trying to cram in more quantity at the cost of quality, it's no wonder!
Anyway... once again, thank you so much! It was sort of a quick throw-together and doodle, so I didn't do much with it, but I'm glad it's still enjoyable .
Oh, the texture's pretty easy in Photoshop. Just duplicate the layer with all the panels in it. Then, on the duplicated layer... err... I dunno if there's an easier way, but you just go to Filter in the menu bar, then choose some random Artistic effect. It brings up that new window. Under Sketch, there's one called Note Paper. Do that one. Then, set the layer to multiply and just mess with the opacity of the layer until it looks good.
